Problems with the interactive CD-Rom

Hi:

I recently bought prince´s interactive cd because I found it by chance on a sale...but now it seems it is giving problems to make it work on my laptop, I have windows vista...my question is...anyone had troubles making it work on newer computers and how did you fix it?

did you right click and set the compatibility mode to the operating system the disk was designed for? possibly it might work.

cheers!

It works on XP, not sure about VISTA (YUCK).

Also remember, you have to set your resolution to 480x640 for the safe in the studio to work. If you're at 800x600 it won't work. It's a hiccup.

If you just want to view or hear the audio clips, Explore the CD itself and poke around with all the WAV and MOV files.

It could just be a VISTA issue. i think I've heard before it won't work on VISTA.

Go to google and type in:

vista compatibility mode

then read how to try to run it following the various suggestions.
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

for the CD-ROM:
I think you best use a virtual machine with Windows 3.11 or so and install the CD-ROM in there.
The virtual machine will be plenty fast and uour vista will not be corrupted byt it.
Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
