WOW! This was apparently on 3121.com as part of the Jam of the week thing they were doing!!! I musta missed it OI! I love it! Anyone else heard it and love it?

I grabbed it when it was up there. I dig it, and still listen to it. It's so straight forward. I always liked that song. The lyrics were spot on. The acoustic take is just as good, and perhaps a bit more interesting musically.

I missed it but would love to hear it

I remember it and I loved and still love it. It's a great song, no matter how it's done.

^^Because I heard it in 2005. A song called "Streets of Panama" was the last song on the disc before being replaced by "Get On The Boat."

i think hes saying he heard an early cut of the 3121 album. and love was the acoustic version. but it was love at the time and he later reworked the song to sound the way it does ont he released album. which by the way if thats true how else did that album differ when u heard it!?!?!?! please just describe a little. streets of panama huh? what did that sound like?

love it. both versions are great, but i think i prefer this one.

The only difference I heard on 3121 aside from "Love" being re-worked was "Streets Of Panama" being replaced by "Get On The Boat."

Everything else mostly stayed the same. I am told but never heard that there is a longer version of 3121 the song out there. Never heard it myself though so I can only go on the person's word.

Not really new news as I think it was discussed on hq but not sure if anyone else heard it aside from knowing about it.

To answer some questions, streets of panama is different than panamaniac. If I had to compare it to anything, I would say what I said when I heard it; that sounded like "damned if I do" part 2.

Sheila is playing on the track from what I recall.

Back to love; loved the acoustic version as soon as I heard it. Loved the one that ended up on 3121 as well. Was asking for the acoustic version to be released for quite a while and glad it was.

I was wanting a copy as soon as I found out it was not going to be on the album.
