ONAL & Best Buy

I am sitting here at work, and REALLY don't want to be...so I am scrolling through the org...reading ALL the ONAL threads, and it got me thinking.

I have a feeling that when ONAL goes on sale (hopefully next week) to the public, that Best Buy might include the ONA piano CD like member's sets did. Best Buy always has promotions like this...and we ALL know that there are still a hella lot of ONA CD's takin up space at Paisley Park. It would be nice for me since I am not a member and would like the CD. But it WON'T be too cool for members and the people that bought it on e-bay for $50.

Just a thought...

Good thought. I don't think anyone on here has thought of this.

Pagey,
There are a lot of people with two ONA studio albums now. I am sure that now that all of these members have two cds that no one is going to be paying more than $10 for an ep on ebay.

My question is this:

Why do you think that ONAL CDs sold at retailers other than Best Buy won't have the ONA studio as well?

Personally, I will be stunned if the ONAL retail CD is not the exact same one sent to members (with the ONA studio CD included). It would fit the same pattern as the Truth's inclusion in the retail version of Crystal Ball (which did not mention the Truth on the package).

There is no way anybody is going to pay $50 for a 3CD set from Prince. Generally, multi-CD sets sell at a cheaper per-CD price than individual CDs, so I would expect the retail version to have 4 CDs.

And oh by the way... I will be quite annoyed if my prediction is right and NPGMC doesn't at least give members a couple exclusive downloads to end the year.
