Like on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the Tavis-interview?

It makes him seem kind of like a professor, not a boring professor but a cool professor since we know how funky he is, but it also makes him seem a bit old.

I love this look. I agree with the funky professor, but cool and geekish too. 2 thumbs up!

Not really a new look. He wore glasses during the SOTT era (and in the film), and the Lovesexy time a lot. He also wore glasses during TRC and the 2001 Celebration, and on Tavis' show when he was playing with Wendy I think.

I like it when he wears glasses--not shades. The shades look a bit silly, especially in doors and at night

But the glasses make him look kind of cool. The outfit on Tavis's show just didn't do it for me. It looked like something Ellen would have worn before she came out.
