It's a lot when you think about it. Wouldn't it be nice if he found a permanent label that really respected him and also marketed him well. cool

You forgot Paisley Park, and Bellmark.

Yes, Warner Sunset/Atlantic.

The Showgirls soundtrack was released on Atlantic, but I don't believe either of those P songs ended up on the soundtrack.

Blankman was on Epic/Sony.

If that's the conditions of the argument, then you can't count Sony, EMI, or Arista either.

His only true record company would have been Warner Bros, making "Paisley Park" and "NPG" was just a rubber stamp.

I have an import copy of "Exodus" that was released by Edel Records (a German label).

I think most of these deals he's done after Warners have been one-offs (or 2-offs if you count "Musicology" and "Planet Earth" both being on Sony/Columbia) for distribution where he owns the recordings and publishing, but has a label to put the product in stores.
