ah, i don't think that was the sales figure!!!, anyone care to enlighten us on it?, Tar!.

I wonder how it is doing overseas. I noticed the local HMV here in Japan sold out, but then again they only had about ten copies. I also heard Never B Another Like Me on the radio but I am not sure if that was an official release or just a dj playing it because he liked it.

Honestly I think this album could have been huge had it been just one cd but I know Prince likes the fact that he can release as much stuff as he wants now. But sometimes I wonder if that is a good thing or not. For us yeah, but for the masses - maybe harder to really get into the entire collection of songs.

Pretty terribly I'd imagine. It hasn't had any official release outside of the US, so copies you see outside have been imported which means the price is inflated beyond words. It also means there's been zero promotion. I actually think this may have been part of Prince's plan to hit the top of the US charts knowing that the vast majority of his non-US hardcore fans would import it and thus count towards his chart tally.
