Favorite Guitar Solo I know this has probably been done umpteen-million times here, but since I'm new, I wanna do it too!!!
I dig the one he does in Morning Papers, and of course, Purple Rain... damn, I gotta think about this one my damn self... close my eyes, what's it like, what's it like inside your tamborine? | |

Joy In Repetition ONA Live
Smallclub is filled with great guitar work, not just Just My Imagination. Dreamer, although many non-fans will dismiss it as boring simple pentatonic work, I think that solo is really why I dig Prince's style so much, his emotion and phrasing is just phenomenal (and he can be flashy and show off some good speed frequently) and I'd put him right up there with "Guitar Gods" like Gilmour and Clapton, IMO. | |
