I Wonder U Um... I'm not even sure what the point of this thread is, but "I Wonder U" has to be one of my Top 5 all time fave Prince songs. (Even though it's less than 3 mins. and his voice, strangely, isn't even heard on it).
I guess I just wanted to see you guys' (and gals') thoughts on this eccentric little gem. Part of me would LOVE to come across a long-hidden extended version of it. On the other hand, I've considered that maybe its appeal is the fact it's such a fleeting, quick pleasure. (Kinda like the 3-second rush you get from being winked at by some beautiful stranger you've been admiring from afar). This song should be much more realized than it was. Maybe it's one of the reasons Prince was eventually disappointed with the Parade album. But I still LOVE it.
