Reznor is correct. If Prince has all thesegreat songs why hasn't he released even one in the last 10 years. I know many on the board will say he's put out many great songs but that's living in fantasyland. Prince used to write and release great songs - those days are over, folks.

Trent follows through with a project. The list of aborted Prince projects is running a fair distance from his discography itself.

Now, while I'm not defending Trent in lieu of throwing Prince under the bus (because while I recognize Trent's talent, I'm still a much bigger Prince fan and always will be), people also have to remember Prince and Trent are both genius with production, song writing and putting together good albums. But they are also worlds apart in style. Trent isn't going to be writing "DMSR" for the new millennium, nor is Prince going to have a hit with his take on "Head Like A Hole". It's apples and oranges. But he's right about Prince taking the "great" ones and making a CD. Talk about money waiting to be made, the vault is a gold mine IF it still exists at all.

Releasing a song a GarbageBand format...they can do that? Could you just imagine the kind of deal Prince could get from Apple if he did something like that with his repertoire? I know I'd seriously reconsider that whole Mac vs PC thing and I've been a PC since 1984!
