Damn, I was really boppin to this today. Didn't realize what a jam this is. This is classic Prince. Fun song as well.

You cannot just stand still with this song.

It's funky and he used the sun glasses very well on the Leno show. Overall though, there are many better funk songs that he has released.

Been a Prince fan now for over 26 years and OSC is amongst his best Songs ever! Of course that is just my humble opinion but man does that beat not get into you and funk u up SUCKASS!

One of the worst songs on the 3-CD set imo. Boring, plodding, pointless.

A lot of times I'll skip a jam or two when one of his new cd's comes out. Only to go back to those songs later (sometimes months later) and find out that I have been missing out all along. I like when that happens because those jams become like little gems tucked away. But OSC was hot right from the start!

Amen...great song. And it's so true, the feeling that Ol' Skool jams bring U...I pretty much listen to Ol' Skool/R&B everyday on the radio.

It was a great song the first time I heard it and its still the best, I love it meaningful lyrics funky and he gets so much off his chest "In the old days songs used to mean something, now they're just mean" classic lyric there. And No more Candy 4 u makes a great follow up to it.

Love the song so much that I put it on my page on my college networking site. It is funk personified. I don't see how you don't like it because as soon as that beat hits then I'm bopping my head but if I wasn't driving in my van then I would be dancing!!! All the lyrics are on point and very true to what he is trying to convey about the music of today. It is time for music to take back the radio and tell Clear Channel to get on up out of here. Time for all the foolishness of songs that use the negativity to get lost. Love it!!!

This is definately one of his funkiest songs ever IMO. The beat grabbed me from the start and kept me till the end and I was feeling the lyrics too. I'm always bopping in my seat when this cut comes on whereever I am, at work or the subway. It's a great song from start to finish. I love it!

The structure and execution of this song is damn near perfection, even better on CD than his Leno performance, IMHO. Prince always knows how to pull an infectious groove out his ass when he gets good and damned ready. As in: The White House is now BLACK, and Prince is determined to take radio back! "Ol Skool Company" - oooh, that's my song!
