Whilst trying to explain why I love prince so much I stated that he covers every genre of music.

Whilst I know he has a broad range of styles - I may have been a little premature with my claim as the genres that came back at me were...

I always thought Bonnie Rait's song "I Can't Make You Love Me" was originally written by Prince....Am I wrong about that?

I've worked in country radio for 13 years now, we will never play a Prince song so in my humble opinion, no, there are no Prince country songs. Although he did a version of "Still the one". Which was a Shania song, of course it can be debated just how country Shania was.

One of the 3 Witness songs of off the Crucial CD, in my opinion is pretty heavy on the rock. I've heard music that is supposed to be country, that does'nt sound country. To me, Right the Wrong is as country as Prince has been.
