I think sincerely that he is usually the heart breaker... but if he sangs songs about that .... no one will feel sorry for him. So he sings like he is the victim so he relishes in people's sympathy for him, especially from the ladies. wink

Again, I can dig it. When I replied to desireenevermind, I said as much. But song lyrics ain't the only thangs comin' out ya boy's mouth.

Exactly. Not every part of his life needs to be addressed in a song.

Co-sign. Lord knows he can keep the "record industry" part of it to himself.

Of course he's only human. But he's a human who had to "create his own universe".

Maybe they don't have concepts such as "accepting responsibility" or "apologies" in the Princeverse?
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Time and again, I've heard him sing songs and tell tales of other folk doing him wrong. But considering the foul shit he's put people thru (fans included), has he ever copped to doing wrong?

I know he's a hypocritical lil' dude, but gimme a fucking break!

time after time he has done that...

I'd bet that in his mind, he actually rationalizes that he's the victim in most romantic situations. I may be wrong of course, but I read that most people tend to do that. When they do something wrong, their subconscious tells them that they were justified or that the true victim deserved it. Otherwise, it would mean they're a bad person and people's brain usually won't accept that notion.

Okay, I'm done playing armchair psychologist for the day.

Prince is a warrior. It shouldn't be this hard for one man to have to fight so hard for his rights to his own God given talent and privacy of what's his, but so be it. He's gonna do his thing until the end, he's a champion to me.

I'm not sure I understand what this means. Is Prince in danger of having his talent taken away from him?

I've been a fan for almost 30 years, exactly what 'foul shit' has he put his fans thru? eek

Funny how this thread is over a week old and no one has come up with an answer to the question. I'd like to know what "foul shit" happened to the fans too.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
