I know, especially as someone on here got it for £7 on Play.com But I'm sure HMV will put the price down eventually, they seem to change the bloody prices every week, one minute Sign of the Times is £20 the next it's £5.

£29.99?
Even bol has it cheaper. Or is £29.99 a sign of the inflation that has been coming? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I guess that means that the European distribution deal fell through then,
if it's now ok for retailers to sell the import again.

Nevertheless stuff was arranged fairly shoddily for those outside of the USA. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... It wasn't in retrospect, a deal was being arranged at the same time as the US
release. When that fell through, they tried to work out another deal, but this has obviously fallen through now as well. I doubt it will get a European distribution deal now as too much time has passed and they've already missed the boat with the fan-base. The exports will have come from the wholesalers, not retail, so I seriously doubt that any of the exports will show up on the US charts, so it's not about that.

Hmmm.
At least it could be a good thing that he tried to set something up. On the other hand: how can it fall through? Greed? Now he misses some of the dough he wanted to earn and the fans are also not serviced too well. (although that effect is slowly going away, checked a few shops last weekend) Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill...
