videos are kinda cheezy these days anyway. If anything a live orchestra/ballet/opera would have been classy. And I think Prince could have pulled it off. Metalica is not exactly my first choice in music, but that thing they did with the live orchestra was really cool a couple of years ago. All Rights Reserved. |

First Mr Bliss there IS repeat IS a Cream video (he wears that stylish blue/cadet grey sleck and vest with white shirt. The tie matches the vest) Mr BLiss, if you have the single, there's a still of the video as the cover art.

I Think "If I Was Your Girlfriend" would have done better on the charts if he had done a video for it. Even the concert footage of this song from the SOTT video concert would have made a good video. He used the concert footage for "ICNTTPOYM", so he should have did it with this one to. | |

It looked kinda' cheesy. Granted it WAS the '80's and computer graphics were not what they are now. It was basically images (shapes and stuff) on a screen, lighting up, changing colours and flickering. The lyrics 2 the song flashed across the screen in various ways right up until the end. I think the idea was a bit revolutionary at the time, because Prince wanted people 2 actually THINK about what he was singing rather than just think it's a cool beat with a cool video where we can see Prince's mug again (not that it's a mug worth OVERLOOKING! He's DELICIOUSLY DELICIOUS!) Hope this helped.*  | |
