on DVD Again last night and I have to say it was like being there for real..awesome show...and when he performed Shhhh..well that is my fav!

THE Musicology concert? Not to sound sarcastic, but there was like 90ish of them. Which one are you referring to? I have seen a few...

I would imagine, perhaps, it's the concert that was shown in Regal Theaters during the tour. It was a special live event at the movie theaters. Bigger ticket price, but you got a front row seat to the concert in your local Regal theater. I forget if it showed here or not. The concert has since been put out on DVD to viewers (not officially of course). It's a good show.

I still hate that a rockin' song like "Baby I'm A Star" is changed into some elevator Muszak jam session. RENATO FOR DOING THAT!

I've seen 3 of them, all great ...

OMG! All I can say it was an Outstanding Performance by Prince. I was there, it was loud, and the energy was flowing throughout the arena. My boy rocked that stage. It was one of the best concerts I have gone 2.

Prince and the Band were on fire. The standing ovations were so loud it made the Staple Center shake like an earthquake.

Totally love everything about this DVD. Never get tired of it.

overall the musicology tour was cool, but it's no whare as good as the ONA tour

I like this one a lot too, but the other day I came across a handheld-shot July 13th MSG show, and I forgot how much funkier D.M.S.R. got later in the tour.
Pass the Peas got thrown in there, and the jamming got nastier and longer.
Also, the mix seemed a little off for the L.A. show DVD, I remember that's how it sounded in theatres, too.
The horns are too low in the mix.
