Well, to put it in context, if I remember, KFAI is an advertiser-free "public" station that specializes in eccentric independent acts.

So, it makes sense.

Now, if a commercial, any commercial, station played even a single track from the new CDs it would suggest that Prince has finally opened the door into the regimented corporate radio machine.

I heard Raspberry Beret the other day. I was shocked because local radio usually only plays Kiss, When Doves Cry, Little Red Corvette, & sometimes 1999. At work I usually hear a Prince radio song a few times a day. It's never the Prince music I crave just his commericial stuff. But nonetheless, still happy to hear.

Oh btw "Here" is very contemporary. I can understand why it gets radio play. It sounds like nothing else and it positively turns heads when people hear it from your car

Seriously though, KFAI is always good for some Purple Music.

Well if no one else thinks that's great news than I'll share in the hapiness. I just wish they would play the new stuff here in NYC, where it needs to be played out here real bad.
