First, let me say that I have a lot of respect for Prince picking this tour to comprise his first live CD. In my opinion, it was his best tour musically. The general public will be disappointed about not hearing some of the traditional versions of his biggest hits, but I'd take Anna Stesia over Kiss anyday of the week. Those who did not like TRC are also probably a little disappointed since the ONAL has a lot of songs from that album, but I am one who thinks that TRC is his most creative work to date, so I am happy that it has so many songs from that album are on the set. The highlights of the set include TRC (awesome intro and second half); Xenophobia (really showcases the great band); Strange Relationship (would be a great single and video to promote the set); Anna Stesia (best Prince song ever); and "Joy in Repetition (great long version with incredible guitar). My only criticism of the set is that it tends to be a little on the mellow side. The mellow songs are great, but there are times in the CD where a funk or rock jam is needed to pick things up. I thought that two of the most energetic moments of the tour were when he did Rolller Coster and Sing a Simple Song and I thought that deleting those songs from the set may have taken away a little energy, but that is just my two cents. The biggest highlight of the set for me is that my review of the D.C. show is in the book.

Anyway. Those songs were dull 2 me, Im glad he got Alphabet St. Blues on there & AnnaSteisa my favorite ones from the set.

I love the Roller Coster song. I think the public would have liked the song. Maybe you're right, it's not Prince's song. Glad I have it on a bootleg.

Prince would have had to dish out the loot
