I've never known any sraight or gay guys that have been sexually atracted to Prince, most guys I've known are atracted to his music, not him.

What an interesting topic...

First, I'll have to somewhat disqualify my response by mentioning I'm a gay male (who, while I think Prince is absolutely one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen, has never for a second been sexually attracted to the man). But Prince is one of those few souls whose aura, mythology, mystique and sheer cult of personality just totally suspend many social conventions. There are/have been a few other celebs like this -- some classic Greek and Roman figures, Joan of Arc, the writers Lord Byron and W.B.Yeats, certain infamous German socialist leaders I'll leave unnamed, Jack Kerouac,David Bowie in his prime, even Madonna -- all of whom have been noted for seizing REALLY curious "affections" from fans of both sexes and of all professed sexual orientations.

I think it just goes to show that much of what we are attracted to, and even love, lust and hate, is 1) beyond our conscious control, and 2) often more related to immaterial things.

That might frighten a lot of people, but I think it's pretty cool... I believe we are, after all, spiritual beings made material; NOT the other way around.

Yall took my comment and ran with it. I never said that black men are attracted to Prince Sexually. Being attracted to someone could be a number of things. Their talent, the music, their style, their personality anything. The reason why I said black men are afraid to admit this is because from my experience at Prince concerts, some people would think they mean sexually and not for his talent alone. This is my opinion and my opinion alone. Thanks for listening.
