Tavis clip talking about Prince and epilepsy there's the 2 Prince clips already on the pbs sight but there's also a clip with Bria and another one about Prince talking about is having epilepsy...and another juicy nugget!

He said he's never really talked about it, but he included it in the lyrics to The Sacrifice Of Victor. He even wrote "true" in the lyric booklet.

"epileptic 'til the age of 7"  We're not supposed to remember that or the part about him telling his mother he wasn't going to be sick anymore because the angels told him so. I wonder if he has to take any medication or if he is on a special diet? I suppose he's alright cause he DRIVES and Drinks a little and has been Known to take some Controlled Substances in the past. If he was really bad with EPILEPSY he couldn't do any of these. It's funny cause I know about this and one can get an attack sometimes with certain MEDICATIONS or under UNDUE STRESS. | |

He also mentions that he compensated 4 being teased in high school by being as flashy & noisy @ possible in his early career. have a clip from the Emancipation era in '97 @ some Awards show where Stevie Wonder called Prince his old nickname "Skipper". bet he was pissed about that! I've been on this Prince ride for close to 30 years and I don't speak on something unless I'm pretty damn sure! However, I am woman enough to admit that I could be wrong and if I am...there are a few Orgers around here that I do trust implicitly and I'm certain they will not hesitate to let me know...in public or in private...that I'm wrong and back it up with fact! So we'll just have to wait and see.  I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. | |
