RAINBOW CHILDREN VINYL- CALLIN ALL P VINYL COLLECTORS

Early christmas gift. It's beautiful. 2 discs, the labels, the artwork. I almost didn't open it. Question is I wanna get one for another collector and I've seen them on ebay. What's the average they're goin for? I've seen them go for as high as $100 and as low as $30. Anyone know?

I'm a little curious as 2 how a continuous album like TRC was broken down into 4 sides. Is there a track listing?
Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful

Actually, Side A works very well. There's a break between Digital Garden and The Work, Pt. 1. Side A feels like the way records used to be organized, with a break about every 20 minutes.

But the rest of the album tends to use fade-outs at the end of each side.

The LP is high fidelity since it is spread out over 4 full sides, so the sound quality is excellent. I notice Family Name sounds a bit worse though, probably becuz side C is more cramped than the others. Not sure...

Here's a track list:

Side A
TRC
Muse 2 The Pharaoh
Digital Garden

Side B
The Work pt. 1
Everywhere
The Sensual Everafter
Mellow

Side C
1+1+1 is 3
Deconstruction
Wedding Feast
She Loves Me 4 Me
Family Name

Side D
The Everlasting Now
Last December

I've seen it go for around US$50 to US$60 on average, but like you say, it's gone up much higher.

I was lucky enough to find a wrecha stow in Toronto that had several copies stashed away at the original retail price ($27 canadian), so I bought two. I didn't tell them that they could sell them for MUCH more...

My recommendation is that you ask at independent wrecha stows that sell new jazz/soul and standard DJ drum'n'bass, house, etc. stuff. That's where I found TRC stashed away.

I purchased mine for $20-something at Skoolkids Records in Exile in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in early January. Last one too.

I got mine on E-Bay last week for about $40.
The whole package is really nice. So nice to have the photo of Prince in the green sweater right on the record and not just peeking around the spine of the CD!
Hey a2grafix--you in Ann Arbor? I work in Ann Arbor and have been to Skoolkids records lots of times! Wish I knew I coulda gotten it there cheaper!!
