If Prince knocked on your door as a Jehovah's Witness?

Would you let him in and hear him out, only on his terms; doing Jehovah's work; meaning he'd refuse to talk about anything but that?

Would you listen?

Would you do as he asks?

And comply with whatever he wanted; in terms of devotion?

???

I would be courteous and respectful to him and then allow Prince to say whatever it was that he wanted to say. After he completed his religious encounter I would simply say thank you for the revelation, but I am a Catholic and shall always forever be. God Bless and Thank You. smile

I have members in my family that are Jehovah's witness and I do let them in out of politeness,, so yes I'd let Prince in, and listen to him. biggrin

I will be honest.

1) Listen? Yeah it's Prince although I doubt that he would stick around after his initial pitch. Plus, I'd stick with any JW now, Christian, Mormon, or Muslim because they are all wrong in my book (equally). It's my duty to YHWH to let them know where I stand. I would be unfair to just tell Prince The Truth.

Jehovah cannot be the creator's name because the letter "J" is only 600 years old.

2) No. I've read The Watchtower publications and some of their books. Some of my family were sort of members. "The Blind Can't Lead The Blind". It's just another merging of the ways of The World and The real Truth to suit Man.
If Anyone read The Torah in The supposed Old Testament, anyone would now how these religions are wrong, and they allow certian law-breaking behaviours of man in exchange for forgiveness and tithe$. Nobody really reads it for what it is.. No filler.. No remix.

3) Devotion to this notion of "Jehovah" created by the son of a Colonizer and a false prophet to boot --- it's the same as all the other religions..

The Bible is World History and Laws and Prophecy, not to be played with unless you research all the way down the its initial forms. Somewhere a man created his own with "additives". We'll see who is correct pretty soon.

I'd offer him tea. Talk him out of his faith. Then discuss proper seating at all future shows.

i'd let him in and listen to him on the provision that when he's done, he'd sit quietly and let me talk to him about my beliefs. smile

Does he do that? Do people take him seriously? I dont think id be able to. Id let him in by all means, but id just pester him with questions, while his dirtiest songs plays in the background. Id be like, come on man. Id get my guitars out and demand that he jams with me. Id be a total pain in the ass. In fact id probably imprison him in and we'd die together. He did say that he'd die 4 me.

Im joking, Prince.

Im not. Im really not.

Yes, we would have peppermint tea and talk the scriptures. No reason to be rude. I enjoy a good biblical discussion. Then I would ask him to autograph the Watch Tower.

I think that i would try my hardest to put aside who he is ..which would be hard as hell..and i'd definatley would hear him out..and let him give me some insight about what being a jehovah witness means to him...I would loove to encounter him in his spiritual light..and really learn more about the religion.

i allways get the Watchtower from my friends that spend there mornings in the subways..and sometimes i give a donation..they are speading the word of GOD, Jehovah, Allah..its all universal. love is god and god is love Girls and Boys love god above pray

no need to curse a group of Jehovah's Witnesses you wouldn't be as derogatory if discussing another faith or your own.

if you don't agree with the faith why post ? It would be easier to by pass the thread. Not to mention if there are witnesses who frequent this forum it's just rude.

YES. God comes first and no matter what my religion is I still serve the same God as P. Forget the entertainment.
