And a couple months ago, I bought the 180-gm vinyl re-issue. Paid cash for that one, too. How is the 180 gm ? I'm curious. And for the record, I own the movie and/or soundtrack on the follow formats, CURRENTLY: Beta tape VHS CED disk Laserdisk Both DVD sets Blu Ray DVD Work print on DVD About six copies on vinyl, including the purple vinyl of the album, the 12" and 7" singles (as well as "When Doves Cry" 7" on purple vinyl) CD Sounds like the other vinyl. Record companies often do audits, and there are independent people brought in as well to do them. So it's not unrealistic. He mentioned a few years ago about the audit starting up, so it's obviously underway. He didn't say they were STARTING it, when he was on Tavis, he said they were DOING it already. i guess we'll see where it goes. obviously i hope prince gets paid what they owe him. it's time for a new direction / it's time for jazz to die | |
