Has yours got the song 3 Chains Of Gold on it? Mine has it listed on the back but it's not actually on the tape. Wondered if they are all the same or not. Bought it when it first came out.

When Prince isn't emoting. Talk about a vanity project. Still decent though as a long form video.

It's not a concert. It's more of a conceptual long form video. A loose story line about a Princess whose father is murdered. She runs to Minneapolis with the family jewels "the chains of gold" for protection. At the same time, Prince is causing havoc with the media and women. A reporter is hot on his trail, but always a step away. The Princess believes that Prince can save her and keep her legacy intact by protecting the chains. She sends him a video of her as a child when she appeared on the 80's variety show That's Incredible (she really was on the show). Prince's girl, Troy, is perturbed at Prince's bemusement and near obsession with the Princess, and ends up leaving him.

It SOUNDS a lot more intense than it is, really. It's all a loose story line, built around a bunch of music videos. The "My Name is Prince" and "Sexy MF" videos are truncated, which sucks. I'd love to see or have the whole "Sexy MF" video again. But it's worth having for the sake of your collection.

There's some titties and beaver in it, FYI.

One of these days, I'm gonna do an Internet search for it, Love 4 One Another and The Beautiful Experince... I'd seen those two and can't wait to see them again.
Unfortunately, 3 chains o' gold, I didn't bother watching when I had the chance. I guess I wanted to wait until I got the album to see it so I don't judge b4hand it wouldn't have made a difference, I didn't get into the song until much later.
But I would have LOVED to see how he presented the music from this album. Especially after what he did with the D&P video DVD the two go hand in hand, don't you think?
