Dreamer tab request Ok. I have to learn to play this song. Can someone post the tab. And by tab in mean draw it out please. I am totally new so saying G to e minor doesn't help much. Can you put that lick in between the chords and generally where the solos go. I learned a pentatonic scale and might be able to jam around if I just know where to go. Thanks for understanding my ignorance on the instrument.

lol-and mabey we can wipe your butt for you after you.....man the net makes it too easy for things like this-the tune hasn't even been out a month-you can't play (your words) and you expect to be able to play this-AFTER someone else has done the all the hard work for you. Stick to learning open chords and more than one scale first-cuz if you dont understand Em or G-its plainly too early for Dreamer for you im afraid.....
PS-a great tune for you right now at this stage is the cross-two open chords-E and A for a beginners way but will sound great-alot better than trying dreamer

lol-that does seem harsh-apologies but your threas smacks of laziness-and if your already wanting to have it easy-give up now. The amount of tunes and ideas you can get from actually trying to figure it out yourself far outweighs the easy route. You shouls be excited to try.....

Chords:
G5 A5 E5 for the verse G5 F#5 F5 E5 for the little descending chorus thing For the G5 A5 E5 part he does something like this: D|---5-----7-----2-----| A|---5-----7-----2-----| E|---3-----5-----0-----| G|-----fill:-----0----0h2----- Repeat. I think that's what you mean by the lick in between the chords. For that riff that starts the song, I haven't taken the time to figure it out exactly but it's within this E minor pentatonic: I-12-15-I I-12-15-----I I-12-14-15-----I I-12-14-----I I-12-13-14-----I I-12-15-----I [Edited 4/3/09 12:57pm]

Thanks Cerpin, this is an awesome tune to play. Good suggestion on the Cross Polkadot. I think I even figured out the little Egyptian type lick at the beginning:
G-1-2-4-6-7-6-4-2 But it also sounds good playing an open G for the first note. I will keep practicing.
