This song from the horrendous New Power Soul gets no love and one of the reasons i think is cuz it sounds like a song MJ would've recorded. What do all of you think about it? thanks

But in general, it's listenable. I sometimes visit NPS, and listen to a large part of it. I used to play it on my piano a lot. I picked it up by ear. I think if he took out some of the harsher sounds in the song, and went more acoustic sounding with it (like "Pink Cashmere"), it would have been SO much better.

NPS is alright with me. I like it. This is a pretty good ballad and The One is a masterpiece. The horns in this album are HOT, so are the keys in Mad Sex. It's our funkier Prince with a 90s production, and I know that's somewhat plastic, but he was never a friend of "natural sounding" in the studio.
