Don't own ONA live? Rediscover this classic instead. I am ashamed to say that up until this week I have always dismissed Chaos and Disorder as contract filler and rubbish. In fact, when I saw that "intended 4 personal use"etc bullshit, my expectations were so low it has very rarely been played.
How wrong I could be!! Its classic. Far better than Emancipation released the same year, its the kind of Prince album I prefer, not over produced, stripped down and raw. OK, I Rock isn't the best song in the world, but I take it over some of the MOR on Emancipation. And thats at its worst. At its best on the title track, Dinner with Delores, I like it There, I will and Had U, its a masterpiece Far superior than most of his 90s output, I apologize whole heartedly to this CD for not giving it the respect it has deserved all these years. Its the most under-rated album hes done, get it in your player and you'll agree. -----------------------------------------

Sorry guys, can't agree with this one. I've played Chaos And Disorder about a dozen times since its release.
Emancipation i played non-stop for about 18 months. The Truth is his only 90's album that i rate higher than Emancipation, disc 2 being my fave.

I love C&D too! I always thought that a studio version of "The Ride" should have been put on this CD, but I guess it's too similar to Zannalee.
