Tried to rip Lotusflow3r and MPLSound to my computer...something strange happened

I was using windows media player to rip the files from all 3 cd's when I noticed something really weird...when I ripped Lotusflow3r I got the graphics and track listing for 1999 and for MPLSound I got Lovesexy. It plays the actual music from the CD, but the other track listing and graphic shows up. don't know if this happened to anyone else, but please let me know. I feel like my emotions are being toyed with!

Subtle hints?
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Does anybody ever answer anything or just make smart-ass comments & emoticons and try to appear superior? It does sound like a weird thing to happen. Chasing links around to 3 separate threads which said nothing was a real bore.

I get the same thing if I play the CD's through Windows Media Centre. In windows media player it just lists Track 1, Track 2 etc etc, but in Windows media centre I get the track listings for Lovesexy and 1999.

Ive heard a few people notice this. Its either a really strange fuck up, or some subliminal nonsense.

Does this happen only with the physical release CDs?

Hmmm. Lemme think about it

Nope. No one answers anything. They just make smart-ass comments & emoticons and try to appear superior.

Guess you should stick to the first two threads on this same topic. Maybe you'll find an answer more to your liking.

As opposed to the stuff you download? No clue. Don't download music that I can buy in a store.

However, both WMP and iTunes utilize "user submissions". iTunes has a dropdown where you can "submit CD track names" and WMP uses AMG's metadata. It's not always correct and Prince isn't the only artist it's happened for - in my personal experience. It's really not that big a deal.

It only happens with the physical CD. Maybe it's some weird computer glitch, maybe it's Prince telling me I should suck it up and pay the $77 mad

Depending on your operating system, particularly with Win Vista if I don't close out the music I was listening to before I Rip It; I get the old and new jumbled together.

I used iTunes to rip the CDs purchased at Target to my iPod, they all had the correct tracklisting. Also, when I play the CDs in a player that displays CDTEXT, the correct titles appear in the display. Maybe the problem is just with WMP?

Yes, in Windows Media player, I have different artists names/song titles listed next to the track names. Pretty strange, but that's what it did to all 3 cds, although it plays the right tracks.
