The electric guitar intro morphs in2 the acoustic musical beauty that follows it. It is seamless. As a diverse musician and guitarist myself, I LOVE 2 hear this side of Prince, and even being aware of what he's capable of, I was still blown away by his melody and chordal melodies.

I love it, too. It starts off dark and turbulent and painful...and becomes sunny and peaceful and warm. It's as if every shred of emotional turmoil he's been through for years just falls away.

I said in the beginning that it makes me want to sit in a warm, sunny courtyard, drinking sangria and eating olives. This music comes from a place of joy and contentment. No Prince song has given me that kind of feeling since Alexa de Paris. (Although that wasn't so much contentment as wild, unbridled joy.)

I like your interpretation.
