I'd bet that if Prince promoted, and followed through on, actual "live concerts from the mansion" he'd get a lot of new subscribers to his website.

Heck with the right worldwide promotion I'm sure he'd get the million members the Variety article alluded to. .

Who would sign up if Prince actually promised and did a live concert "from the mansion" say for 4 Fridays, or Saturdays, in a row? Kind of like the old Paisley shows, but on his site?

you know, even if he just did some simple webcam thing of him doing five minutes of an acoustic performance - if he did something like that every week, or even just sporadically, it would be extremely cool.

In all seriousness, if Prince did regular performances from his mansion, he would strengthen his core audience and most probably attract more casual fans too. It would indeed be really cool.

Yeah that would create a HUGE buzz, I would probably invite my friends over for a party to watch the show
