You're My Love

23 years on I finally summoned the courage to listen to Kenny Rogers singing Prince.

I haven't heard that much cheese since Cheesy Chester stopped me for directions to get to Cheesetown traveling via Cheeseville and Cheeseham.

I fuckin' love it!!! lol

Is there a Prince version in circulation?
Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

not currently ..funny how the background vocalist is el debarge tho big grin
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

maybe i haven't gotten a hold of the "good stuff" yet, but the only outtakes/unreleased trax i've heard that i felt should've seen the light of day are Beautiful Strange (and that MAY have unbeknowst to me), and Purple Music; maybe Extra Loveable

Moonbeam Levels is overrated, so is Wonderful Ass, so is Supercute, so is Van Gogh, so is Adonis & Bathsheba... Alternate versions so far are less impressive too

i'm still sifting thru stuff, but so far i'm underwhelmed and I trust P's judgement more

"Moonbeam Levels" is stellar, and was better than "Free", IMO.

"Beautiful Strange" was released on a video, and on Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic (the remix album).

"Super cute" and "Van Gogh" are not outtakes, they are official releases.

Geoff, this song is WONDERFUL! It's always on my iPod, and I crank it up and sing in my best country meets pop voice in the car when it shuffles into play. I love that El DeBarge sings backups on it too. Such a great pop song. I don't think it's cheesy, it's just great.

I remember this album when I was younger. I used to have it on vinyl. It's from They Don't Make Them Like They Used To from Kenny.
