I'm happy with year 2. Could be alot happier but I never had any illusions of exclusive music or 4 cds of new orginal music. No top talent musician is going to produce 4 full length cds of new music & not turn around & offer it to the general public at some point. Not gonna happen. Yet I saw many people here on the org that believed that was going to happen. Spend 10 months with unrealistic expectations and bitching & moaning is the inevitable result. Theres at least 200 songs out there that have been unreleased, in addition to anything new recorded this year. First and foremost the site had no business heavily implying 4 CDs of new music. It was a lie conveniently announced at the beginning of year 2, which was slowly dissasambled and removed from the site by the end of the year. | |

All the bitchin and complaining doesn't bother me. Prince fans have been complaining since Around the World in a Day. Personally, I wouldn't give a C-Note to anybody just to receive special attention. If Prince doesn't feel it's good enough to go to retail (which it usually does 80% of the time), then it probably isn't worth the money nor the hassle. If Prince promised to pay my utility bills in exchange for the fee of $100, then we'd have some issues and I'd be bitching about breach of contracts, etc. But why bitch about $100 for 4 cds when you could go to a used CD store and get at least 13 cds by other artists for the same price? But I'm not knockin some folks mentality around here...whatever floats your boat. Either way I don't lose a wink of sleep behind it.  | |
