what compelling psychological reasons causes a person to like prince's lyrics? let's investigate. it would be cool if prince would write a song about how fucked up a person has to be in order to constantly seek the positive in life. i mean, 1+1+1=3. let's do the math. LOL!

Break up "The Theocratic Order" at thine peril...
It's hard not to view every last lyrical utterance Prince makes nowadays as filtered through a conservative religious lens. I just laugh them off.

I don't think anyone could argue that children aren't better off having two loving supportive parents.

I think it's a reference to the bible, where the father is clearly the authority figure of the household who provides and protects, while the mother is the nurturer.
Therefore a child is supposed to learn authority from the father and how to love from the mother. Unfortunately the so called modern family doesn't nessecarily reflect those traditinal values anymore, because the father is often absent and the mother is overwhelmed by trying to be the authority figure, provider, protector and nurturer all by herself. love the one who is Love!

for real though.....there is more hate dished out by the so called non-haters than there is actual hate from haters
they need to start their own org where only positive comments will be tolerated then they can sit back and chat with all 20 of those members

At least with those who deserve respect. Even with my Dad not living with us, (they never married), I'm cool with my Dad and I love and respect him.
Tell em Purplecam!! I'm a mother and women can raise boys into men very well thank-you. To say otherwise is insulting. So P insulted you?!

In the past I have responded to stupid comments like these with 'wilful idiocy'. In this case, sadly, there is nothing wilful about it. Possibly 'natural or innate idiocy?' Eh, doesn't bite in the same way.

Remember the lyric from TRC?...."who is your real father? The everlasting one." who is the heavenly/spiritual mother? there isnt one, as far as Im concerned. Tho some point to Mary, mother of Yeshua. However, she was an earthly mother. Stand Up! Everybody, this is your life!
