No!! I don't want to hear this new age preachy funk shit. The Everlasting Now makes me cringe "Don't let nobody bring you down" Oh please, the ambiguity is killing me. The Last December is even worse and makes me wanna wretch.

These are not my favorites either. However, if he must do something from TRC why not do '1+1+1 is 3.' It's a much catchier tune that the locals would enjoy.

Hey, if he's up for doing a TRC piece, I'd vote for TRC. To me, it's the strongest by far, and it was killer when I heard it live.

I don't get it; if this is a promotional performance for ONA live , then why play 2 relatively unknown songs?

Wouldn't it be more profitable moneywise to play a well known song like 'Take me With U' or 'Raspberry Baret' and a less well known, but catchy, song like 'The work'?

Well, I would ill if he did "Raspberry Sorbet" or "Take Me With WHO?" on Leno - we've heard those how many millions of times?? neutral

He did The Work the last time he was on Leno (on night #1), so WHY would he sing that one again? confuse

I love Everlasting Now, that shit BUMPS headbang

that much anymore especially something national like The
Tonight Show. It's gonna be real cool to see him perform
the music he wants to play and to see some real fams jammin'
along with him.Whoever goes y'all better sing along.

Avalanche would piss off too much of Leno's demographic, Anna Stesia is wonderful but a bit too serene. He needs to hit 'em hard & be OUT, make them sweat for Vegas wink

Look guys, it's pretty obvious. He wants to promote ONA Live, and he really can't do one of his old songs (that would be kinda pathetic). He has got to perform something from TRC, and unfortunately, he already did The Work last time (what a crap version that was compared to how he's playing it nowadays), so he's basically stuck with Everlasting Now and 1+1+1=3 - or do you expect him to do a ballad? Please.

If he plays an instrumental of it and shuts up with all the preachy lyrics it might be cool.

I Think the song rocks and it is a great choice.

DAMN just be happy he's gonna be on T.V. Performing somewhere...Prince will rock this song out and I just don't get how you all can rave about it sounding better live on the cd box set live and now don't want to hear it on national Tv!

Hmm, yes, you're right. I always keep forgetting that many
people have a problem with "Avalanche". I just think it's
an incredibly strong and beautiful song.

Well, the state a lot of npgmc members are in right now, I
think he better watch out they don't hit him hard.

Like, oh, say, with a cabbage, right in the piehole.

Imagine:

Prince: "NPG Music Club Members, Where U At?"

swooosh -sound of flying vegetable sphere

Leno: "Watch out, Incoming Cabbage, 4 o'clock!"
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
