Do you think Prince listens to himself a lot? I picture him blasting himself in the car and miming. Do you think he puts on all the bootlegs and just screams 'ah shit, I should have put this on Parade instead!' while listening to 'All My Dreams' and air drumming.

It's not a stretch to know Prince listens to his music in his car. He's taken reporters to listen to parts of Lotus/MPLSound in his car. I think just about every person who makes music listens to their own stuff in their car. I do. After I put it on the home theater system, the next step is taking it for a drive in the car. It's one of the gauges I have for listening to a mix of my songs.

considering how quickly he seems to get bored with new projects, it's hard for me to imagine he spends a lot of time looking back at his old material. Far too busy recording new stuff, I would think.

but with Prince, of course....ya never know...

He said he does, He was asked this on an interview before.

I wonder if he enjoys it like we do ? or is as Critical as we can be?
