I heard a rumor that he has had at least one and that would explain why he is not nearly as active as he used to be. Does anybody know for sure?

Prince had all three hips replaced in 1999.

There's was always big talk that he needed one, but that's about the time the JW thing happened, and they don't believe in blood transfusions. However, there are techniques of working around the transfusion thing in an operation for those who don't believe in that.

It makes me wonder, if he's not had a replacement, and he's experiencing pain, if he's taking a good deal of medication to get rid of the pain. I always study his face when he's wearing flip flops or tennis shoes, wondering if he's silently flinching in pain from his stubbornness.

But realistically, he didn't, because there's no way he would have moved the way he did on the Rave Un2 PPV at the end of December. The healing time is long with something like that. Good time frame though, since he was all but silent throughout most of 1999.

He had his hips done when he had the ribs removed.

I don't know if it is true or not...I just pray he's alright and loved no matter what condition he is in.
