He should have a single or singles to radio. The thing won't sell by itself. Send out videos, singles, you know, like normal artists..lol

Singles aren't what they used to be - but besides that, he doesn't have a major label behind him to "grease the wheels" of radio execs.

I think a new website, 4 TV appearances (3 Leno, 1 Ellen), a Target commercial, and in-store videos, are pretty good promotion.

If he did, outside of the US where would you buy it?! I still waiting to buy the physical album(s)!

I never really understood how the marketing works for releasing "singles" the album is out isn't a "multiple" release still able to be played on the radio?

A single nowadays is sending a track to radio and people downloading it on iTunes after they heard it or saw the video.

Prince is not a label who could make radio stations play any of his recent songs. Remember not even "Black Sweat" was played and it spent a week on the Billboard Hot 100 because of digital sales.

There would be no point.Radio wouldn't play it anyway.
