Crimson and Clover...? Soo, I have heard the original for many years and never really questioned the lyrics before...but NOW...I think the lyrics are about acid...am I wrong...maybe the term Crimson & Clover means something else...but the song sounds like the "singer" is asking some girl to do a hit of acid with him so they can fall in love....maybe i am just imagining this...someone please clarify... This song is enchanted. It's a love song that has the feeling of Love in Crimson blood, and as widespread as a field of clovers. This love is from the vine...Perhaps lost in time...en route to it's ripe fruition.
