Am i the only one who notices strong similarities between the both songs?

Both are songs that I skip, both sound alike, both are extremely boring, both show that he´s become lazy in the lyrics deparment, both are predictable.

Its the whole progression of the song that sort of goes from a lower end to a climax and then back to a lower sort of strength (like for example on the indigo nights cd, there is this strong horn that comes after every section ends on satisfied) and then obviously his falsetto and a sort of mellow sound on both with soft drums etc etc.

i like "satisfied" a lot more. never cared for "on the couch", it's
not even a real song imo. it just sounds so mellow that it becomes
sort of unfinished, improvised meandering. but if that's the vibe he
was going for, thumbs up, lol.

now, satisfied, i can get into, very nice song. i don't care too much
for the long long looooong live version though. too long imo. one of
the instances where the album track is superior imo.

but yeah, it's pretty obvious how they both came from the same mold.
