How much of your Prince collection is on vinyl/record.How many albums do you have, 45`s and 12 inches. What songs from Prince you`ve only heared on vinyl and never on CD?

I have Purple Rain movie on Beta, CED, VHS, Laserdisk, both DVD sets, and BluRay (as of yesterday).

Prince doesn't have a whole lot of material that is not available on cd. Off the top of my head, I can only think of 12in versions that haven't appeared on cd.

As for my collection, I don't buy a lot of things in multiple formats. Mostly because I'm poor, but I do own all of his OFFICIAL albums on cd. On vinyl, I have Controversy up to Sign O The Times. I then started buying cds in 1988 when Lovesexy dropped. I also have the original cd pressing of ATWIAD with the fold out cover. I have all 12 inch singles up to 1989, I don't have a lot of promos, but I do have the songs. I also have the limited edition version of Delirious 45 that has the fold out calendar.

As for singles, I started buying cd singles after 1989. I think my first was New Power Generation. Then I had to get Thieves In The Temple and the rest of them.

As for rarities, I have the Minneapolis Sound compilation that has the long version of America. A lot of NPGMC stuff including the NYC cassette, and other stuff that I can't think of.

i have all the albums from 1978-1989, most of the associated artists from that period, and a good number of 45s and 12"s on vinyl.

I have many. I am a DJ and got many many over the years. On e of my prize posseions is The Rainbow Children on vinyl

I have & treasure, Vinyl Albums and 12" records totaling to 19 (always disappointed I didn't get to 20), they are in a hard to get to place right now, but from memory do include - For You, Prince, Dirty Mind, Bambi, Controversy, 1999, 1999 II, Purple Rain, Sign o the Times, Graffiti Bridge, Parade, Around the world in a day, Love Sexy, SMF 12", sorry it’s too hard, can’t remember the rest - any way that's one of the few great things about being in your 40's if you're smart you've kept all your vinyl records.

i was pretty unhappy with the ' hate u' vinyl. very, very hot mix with a lot of distortion. unfortunately the cd sounds almost as bad.

Currently I have 193 12" singles from 6 different countries

8 DJ service mixes (Ultimix, TurboBeat etc)

69 45's (all US 45's plus UK picture disc 45's and a couple UK 45's)

9 albums (2 of which are UK picture disc albums)

6 bootleg albums

Obviously I am more into 12" singles than anything else.

I'd love to know how much vinyl Alex from Sleevographia has!

That includes mostly all related projects too.

51 hours(no) / Trust promo 12 (no) / not yet

Just about most everything else released and MANY not released YES.

Mostly MINT too
