I just caught it on TV where I live. It was awesome!     And Sheila E. was playing on drums. (Once again, for those of you elsewhere, check your local listings for show times. And I believe that the show also repeats at night on the Oxygen network,)

i'm watching my tape of the whole show right now and ellen loses major points 4 in her monologue referring 2 dearly beloved, 20% chance of purple rain, this kid parties like it's 1999  geez yeah make it keep sounding like prince hasn't done anything since those 2 albums, and if she's such a fan, i dare her 2 quote a song from the rainbow children ..go on i dare ya!man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |
