a few of those are listed at princeinfo.net and in per nilsen's book, but a few of them aren't. it's time for a new direction / it's time for jazz to die

The one's solely atrributed to Prince have largely been accounted for in the past, I think - for example:
American In Paris - unreleased from 1989 Dream - unreleased from 1993 You're All I Want - unreleased from 1982 The joint compositions are invariably songs recorded by other artists (often rappers) which feature Prince samples as part of the recording, and therefore Prince recieves a credit. . PURPOSE IN YOUR LIFE (Title Code: 460525333)
Writers: PRINCE Performers: (none found) The Elisa Fiorillo CD has a track called 'Purpose in Your Life.' I don't recall if Prince was credited for that one or not, but I don't think so. Also I have no idea where that CD is at the moment, so I guess I won't be researching it.

Actually, several tracks r listed at ASCAP as Prince compositions but r actually rap songs with samples by Prince, so u'd have 2 check on any dubious song that has been written by Prince + other people if they're not actually hip-hop things with samples.
