Cloreen bacon skin (Alfred Nelson) I am just loving this track off Crystal ball, recorded in 1983, with him on a weird voice and gangter type growl and Morris Day on drums (?), its a powerful drum track. The conversation is interesting, hes talking about Alfred his half brother who was carried off to an institution in the early 70s. According to "Possessed" he was into James Brown, had a little Richard hair do and produced bills (Money?) from who knows where.
Does anyone know more about lfred, I feel this positive energy about him and the song (Bizarre psychic moment). Who else loves this track and can anyone else decipher its meaning further. Its up there with "Theres others here with us" as one of his most bizarre and exciting tracks So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

it's great fun. and i like it.
i just wish it wasn't taking up 15 minutes of space on that disc which could have been used much more wisely (i.e., guitar solo on "Crucial" anyone?)
