The point being, why would Prince yank away an exclusive to the last remaining chain of MUSIC specialists? The much larger places put all the specialists out of business as they have income in a lot more areas, and then when you want something that's not in the Top 20, you can only buy it on the internet - or even worse, resort to illegally downloading it.

They can't recall anything. I got my copy for the £12.99 price on the HMV pre-order when they had it listed incorrectly for those few hours. It's already been delivered.

You can't buy it in store - removed from shelves.
You order it on amazon - you get an email saying its been cancelled
You order it on Hmv - you get an email saying its been cancelled

How much more hassle can a fan be put through for a CD. I got it from HMV. But if I hadn't I know what I would do.....!

I think it's Prince being selective with who he wants to aim each project at. It's easy for him to stay at home in the US. It's easy for him to come to a big city like London with no language barriers. He's spent so long cutting out the middle man, all of his projects now have to be aimed at just the one place at a time as he doesn't have a global marketing department or anything of the sort.

Australia always misses out the most with almost everything I've noticed. few people want to travel that far with all their equipment, yet they always find time to go to Japan as there's more money to be made.
