I just listened to "Tambourine" for the first time in ages. It's a great song but I'm sure it would probably illicit a WTF from the casual listener. What are some other "weird" Prince songs. I'll go ahead and get "God" out of the way.

Depends what type of 'weird' you're talking about. If you've spent all your life just listening to C&W then anything Prince does could be considered weird.

Plenty of people seem to think 'Others Here With Us' is weird, sounds perfectly normal to me though.

I don't think "Tambourine" is weird. It's just very percussive in nature (and Prince played his balls off in that song, Susan Rogers agrees). And "Life Can Be So Nice" is an extension of "Tambourine", as is "Dance On".

Weird is "Others Here With Us". I always thought "Something In The Water" was a weird song.

Others are:

"Power Fantastic" (if for no other reason than it's so boring...hold the flames, I've heard it all before)
