I believe the "Lotus," is symbolic of a spiritual and intellectual opening.
Or an awakening...as a "Morning Glory." Love is being offered to us continuously from a higher vibration of existence... Take it..Accept it...Let love in. I would fear if U shy from this power. Giving and Recieveing are a joint adventure... It is no fun 4 God 2 give his love if our hearts aren't open to joyfully recieving that love. Prince says...."Wake Up!." Let us then...Listen and heed.
