PRINCE's NEXT MOVE ??????

What would y'all like to see him do next?

I'd personally like a return to the MPLS sound for the 21st century. Don't get me wrong-not a rehashing but take somethin' old and funky and make it new and funky. The band he has now can obviously go in any direction neccesary and I'd love to see "The Return of Jamie Starr." I am not saying Prince needs to be cussing and everything, but ONA saw him at his most straight laced and non-theatrical. I think half the fun of Prince is his theatrical side.
"New Power slide...."

Skywalker, that pseudonym stuff was fun way back then but Prince is moving forward and he doesn't need to be Jamie Starr, Joey Coco or anyone else. The brother is still FUNKY, the funk did not fall from his personality,he is just following different avenues.

We still have the old school funk to listen to and let him create some new funk when he feels like it.

I wish he would go back to a rock funk sound and look. No horns, No stupid out of date hair styles(remeber that hair he had during D&P(91) and the symbol album(92)) and no dancers or background singers. If he had kept his sound hard and raw, he wouldn't be a laughing stock now. He's a vages act now. All he needs to do now is eat alot of fried foods and get fat and put on a sparkley jumpsuit.

His next move?

The color scheme of the NPGMC site will change a bit. They will add a couple new fashion illustrations. Add a 15 second loop from ONA Live. And start sending us emails about NPGMC 2003, with a bunch of intentionally vague promises that they will never even come close to living up to. Oh yeah, and its only 100 bucks. And one more thing, you probabbly wont get most of your stuff till the end of next year, shortly before it hits retail.

He will knock out some acoustic album in a weekend filled with all kind of "you may think this is true, but really its like this..." religious banter, and call it "experimental" or "man and guitar experience" or something retarded to make it seem like more than what it really is.

Let's get one thing straight. He's a thin man. Prince is a skinny man and Prince will never be fat! (get it!)

I wish he would move back to Mn, and give Friday nite parties again. I wish his hair was longer and better looking. I wish he would wear those interesting outfits he used to wear and throw away the boring suit he wore for ONA.

I wish he would appreciate his old music and stop putting it down like it is no good anymore.
I wish I had had the nerve to ask him at one of the soundchecks what's wrong with the music, you wrote it?
