I recently saw a video of concert footage,and he performed the song Possessed,and I was wondering if anyone knew at which concerts,and what year he performed this song?

It was performed during the Purple Rain tour, so you most likely saw the footage released on video from the Syracuse concert:

the Syracuse concert was send by sattellite to most of the world, I saw this show here in Denmark in the middle of the night/ early morning, ca. march 1985,

it was later released on VHS:

Possessed is such a great song. I would love to see it live.

I recently informed an acquaintance that I am a Prince fan and she told me that she went to the Syracuse show (I live near Syracuse, so I know a lot of people who went to it). She is not a huge fan, but she said it was the best concert she ever attended.

I guess you know this but its' the european PAL version, it won't play in the american video recorders, if you need the american be sure you buy the NTSC version (posted by Mplsmike).
