But to say the least, being a supporter of him, no matter how big, IS ridiculous. I will say that much for it.

I have other things going on in my life of course and I try to diversify with my music a little more than I did in the first year

The most ridiculous part of it... he gets little respect from those ignorant of his many talents (Im talking the ones that know nothing outside of "Purple Rain")... and some of us are so that we don't get much credible ourselves for liking him. People would think we're worshipping the freak of the week (my response to that: ur looking at that wrong guy if u want to see the freak of the week)...

Most ridiculous, personally, it's something I can't turn off When I write about him, I write long (as I'm sure you've noticed) and I can go on several tangents on one rant, no joke. I can write endlessly about him even if its stuff I've written before. And I'm not even doing it anymore as a way to do justice to his amazing music, that's how I justified my lengthy rants before.

Now I'm just doing 'em because its just me. Can't turn it off and I need to get everything on my mind out until I feel like I've covered everything

Prince created the term fam as another method to control an element of his fan base that are the most easily lead.

He asked people to join his FAMily. How many orgers charge their family for a membership? Prince simply put his arm around the gulible, while he lifted their wallet.

The sheep lapped up the new name the master had given them, and in the process, usually lable the non fams haters.

Fams represent the very worst element of the fan base in my opinion. They are ususally the most venomous, devisive and ill informed.

You can see patterns. The fams are usually the least educated in Prince's main purpose in the public domain...music.

Eye wuz a member of the New Breed, then The Revolution, next the NPG, always longing 2 C the Dawn, & often a Freak on this Side, after reaching the Dawn & Xperiencing the Everlasting NOW, I became a FAM --only 2 morp into the LOTUS and now sit waiting 4 the next Xperience.
