I didn't listen to this song for several years, but when I played it again recently I loved it, even more than in the past. It's so smooth and sophisticated!

The beat is great, the melody is sweet and Clare's string arrangement is from the heavens above.
What was it like live? | |

It's one of mine too. Well, after I got rid of that faux-ragga rap near the end, that is... • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

What was it like live? unimaginable. dreamy to say the least hi It most certainly is... and it wasn't even love at first "sight" I was in the middle of that week I was listening to the album, trying to see which tracks should stay or go (in the end, I decided to keep listening to all of them but one... or two if you count the advertisement that comes b4 it).. I was on the fence with this. Then one time, it just hit me... been in love with it ever since. With this song, people always say they like it except for the reggae portion. I think I'm alone is saying that I LOVE that part. In fact, its part of the reason I got to like the song in the first place. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

I was just going to say that's my favorite part, the reggae part at the end. "do you like i do..." And i'm not a fan of Rave on the whole, but 'sun moon and stars' stands out. "Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion" -- Martha Graham

Agreed with Blackbob. Good song, reggae ruined it. If that was cut out, it'd be great.

It's one of mine too. Well, after I got rid of that faux-ragga rap near the end, that is... Hell yes! Love the song, wish it faded out before that part, or went in a different direction. Wouldn't a nice piano solo have been perfect to close with?
