I couldn't agree with you more totheteeth. I know I feel blessed to be a fan of an amazing artist who still makes music that makes me dance, think and makes me "feel good". It's been a great ride the last 25 years and I have no plans of getting off of this Purple Train. [Edited 4/16/09 8:34am] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

for every graffiti bridge, there's a lotusflow3r. for every concert when he shamelessly closes with "purple rain," there's a concert where he plays "in a large room with no light" and knocks us all off of our asses. and even the "bad" moments aren't too bad. just trying to spread some love. the man has been through many changes (with a lot of bumps along the way), but DAMN if it isn't all worth the trip. i disagree, but i won't pepper this thread with hate. i'll only say he's less of an embracing soul than he used to be. i'm lucky that he was on the scene from back in the day until about 10 yrs ago. he used to be a very inspirational and all encompassing person and musicion. for that i am very appreciative. | |
